These Vans shoes are the first collaboration between Federal and Vans. Federal chose the Vans Old Skool BMX Pro shoe featuring the Vans Wafflecup sole as this was the most popular with the Federal team riders. The shoe has a subtle look with suede black toe, heel and tongue panels with a blue and white canvas pinstripe mid section and the iconic Vans Old Skool stripe in white.

The Wafflecup sole has been designed specifically for BMX to ensure your feet stay firmly on your pedals and give enough support for the hardest landings. The insole features PopCush technology to make landings feel smoother and give the shoes an overall great feel. The exterior features a DURACAP rubber patch to extend the wear of the shoes as well as providing protection against your crank arm.

Federal designed these shoes to look great whether you're riding your bike or just hanging out after a session. As part of this subtle aesthetic there's the classic 'F' logo on the tongue as well as the Federal 'Chalk' logo on the rear panel. Both of these are black on black logos so only stand out when you see the shoes close up. The shoes intentionally don't scream out that they're a Federal collaboration, as they say 'if you know, you know'. What does scream out is the Federal Chalk logo which covers the entire length of the insole.
